Nonprofit Center of Northeast Florida creates a thriving Northeast Florida nonprofit community by equipping nonprofit sector leaders. They also facilitate collective action among, and enhance the public’s understanding of the nonprofit sector and its critical role in enhancing our quality of life. Nonprofit Center is a long-time client of Brown Dog having worked together since 2003. As a result, we fully understood the challenges they faced having equity (and a knowledge base) in a robust, yet older back-end that assists their organization complete many operation tasks. We wanted them to enjoy the benefits of a newer blog-friendly front-end without scrapping their database-driven cms all together. Brown Dog came up with an i-framed solution which does just that. We also used the taxonomy of categories to “tag” posts, allowing each to behave dynamically. In other words, Nonprofit Center creates a single blog post and by simple categorization, the website knows how and where to display its content to the user in real-time.
