Florida’s Times-Union: She and Her Brown Dog Offer Bigger Bite on Web for Clients

After years of working at a local print advertising agency, Lesley Foster wanted her work to jump off the page. In 2002, she opened Brown Dog Creative, a local Web “boutique” that creates custom Web sites for corporate clients. The Web sites aren’t just simple screens with a phone number or address. They include animation, can cost anywhere from $5,000 to $20,000 and take months to complete. Some of the firm’s recent clients include the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office and architectural firm Rink Design.
